Longtime document management expert leads the StarLaw product line
ATLANTA – August 16, 2011 – ADERANT, a global provider of business and financial management software for law and professional services firms, today announced that the company has appointed Doug Geller as managing director of ADERANT StarLaw. Geller joins ADERANT with more than 17 years of document management experience, including positions in product development and executive leadership.
“Doug has been successful in the document management market for many years. His leadership and guidance will help us continue to develop and market the industry’s most comprehensive enterprise content management system,” said Chris Giglio, chief executive officer for ADERANT. “Our existing clients and prospective StarLaw users will benefit greatly from Doug’s nearly two decades of technical expertise and best practices knowledge.”
Prior to joining ADERANT, Geller served as chief executive officer for Geller Data Solutions Inc. (GDSI). He started his career as a document management consultant and developer for MDY Advanced Technologies. Shortly after MDY was sold to Computer Associates in 2006, Doug founded GDSI, a boutique document management company specializing in custom development, which he directed until his move to ADERANT. Under Geller’s leadership, GDSI developed more than 25 unique products and had more than 200 clients.
